!!It was a great green weekend!!
* The Fun Bunch aka TEAM DIETSCH*
It has been non stop over here. There has been something happening, something cooking weekday, weeknights and pretty much all weekends. I will try my best to do a catch up that is informative :)
Lets start with one of the biggest events of the month of march. Mr. Bradly turned, dare I say it? Turned 28 years old! Oh baby I got myself a man that is aging quite nice if I do say so. By far Brad put together one of my favorite days in Bondi. He made a scavenger hunt around the hood. The whole day itself deserves it's own blog which will be put together soon! Until then I will leave you with the birthday boy, his balloons and his beer.
One of the birthday treats was Fairy Bread. Um. Well all kids in AMERICA have been deprived. This is at every Australian kid party.
WHITE BREAD
BUTTER
SPRINKLES
Brad's party was by far the BEST but it was not the only shindig these past few weeks. There have been
Mexican Fiestas
and
fancy dress dance parties with
peacocks
Waldo
Army folk
high school nerds
There was one morning where I woke up to a campsite in the living room.
Campers included.
Summer nights with
beer
wine
grill action
One Wednesday evening there was a dinner show followed by the silent movie, The Artist, in Newtown.
There was a few cracked eggs but nothing that could not be made into a delicious scrambled dish
The cafe I have been working at here and there has been mental! People packed in every weekend. I worked this morning, Monday. It was a slow Monday until one table came in from spending the weekend at at the "sexpo" and littered the tables with vibrators. Only moments before that I had a conversation with Emily Blunt about toast and avocado. Ms. Blunt has been in many movies but you might know her from Devils Wears Prada and her hubby is the tall man who plays Jim in The Office. That spiced up my Monday!
Eleanor also ran into a Hollywood face in the bathroom at a wine bar last night. Naomi Watts...this place is crawling with undercover celbs. I am still pretty excited that Leo heard me order 5 Heinekens. That will be hard to beat.
I have been pretty dedicated to training. In Thailand we called it "doing fitness" and here we call it training. All kinds! Boxing, beach runs, kickboxing class, circuit class..you name it I have been participating. Group training at the beach is my favorite though!!
There is a very special event coming up in June and a girls got to look good standing up next to some of her besties supporting the uniting of two very fun, very out going and lovley people. JAC and DANE I can not wait for the big day!! Not only will I be making it home for the wedding but I will also be home in time to see Luke graduate high school. I am heart broken that I did not see him lead his team in an amazing season on the ice but excited to steal my TV and car back from him...wait no...I mean shower him with gifts and congratulations.
So yes, it is true.....I will be in AMERICA in MAY!! Deep breath. I am just about every emotion in the book. Excitement of course is the leading emotion. I will keep people posted and I will go ahead and plan myself a few welcome home parties. The 1st one will be at 1982 James...the 2ed one will be at an unannounced Chicago bar or maybe Sugs rooftop pool. Sug that cool? Details, details. I am so excited to see my friends and family it is not even funny. Last time I was home was September, 2010. Far to long.
I know it has been awhile since I blogged, but I will gather more pics from Brad's birthday and be sure to bring the camera on our big dive trip. Oh yea baby, Great Barrier Reef here we come. Brad and I are signed up for a live aboard trip. Eating and sleeping out on the water. 11 dives 2 of them night dives. I am not afraid of sharks. I am not afraid of sharks. Sharks are afraid of Brad. Brad will protect me. That is the plan at least.
OK! This sums some stuff up! Will be back, soon. xx
