Friday was wine and pizza date night. Veggie pizza was ordered since it was the first Friday of Lent.  40 days and 40 nights of no Diet Coke or other soft drinks for Rachybabe and no fried food or fingernail biting for Babu.

Since I started work so early in the morning I was off and at the beach by 2PM Saturday afternoon for a quick dip and a stop by a party at the rocks.  Thanks Zander (new friend) for some of the pictures below to show off Bondi Beach parties.

Bondi Beach AKA Never Never Land

This view is us on the rocks looking at Bondi Beach.  A few weekends ago I jumped in and SWAM all the way to shore.  This is also the area that Brad and Kyle play with spear guns to try to catch dinner!

After an afternoon in the sun we got a quick bite to eat and headed home for some downtime before whooping it up on a Saturday night.  Welp. It turns out a sunny day, a few beers, Mexican dinner and an evening lay down is NOT a good way to rally.  Next thing we know we have a bumping house party with heaps of people, dance music and booze....we really had no intention of what you are going to see in this picture below. A pass out. SOBER. Brad and I were in our bedroom...door open just having us a nice conversation, yes in our matching t-shirts(this was not planned) , then all of a sudden we are the talk of the town....Rach and Brad are sleeping...so we did not get the life of the party award Saturday night.

Sarah may have won that award though

I woke up to go to work with a few left over party people in the living room that were kind enough to point out the beautiful sunrise and morning rainbow.

Now that is a Tuesday

Needless to say I am

I started this past Tuesday with a beach workout then celebrated Pancake Day with some of my Canadian and English lady friends at their APT on the otherside of Bondi. They had a killer spread.

After some amazing pancakes and fresh fruit I went to work for a few hours then hopped on a bus headed into the city to meet a handsome boy for an after work drink and a stroll though the park.

The plan was to go to Jurassic which is a weekly evening event held at The Australian Museum. For 15 bucks you get entry as well as a free cocktail.  I will start by saying ALL museums should do something like this. There was a mix of all different people.

We sat on the floor with our drinks and watched magic shows
We buffed up on our history
Played with interactive exhibits and made dream catchers. One room was dedicated to retro games where we could play twister, ping pong, jenga and listen to some tracks by the live DJ
We met up with El and some of the girls that participated in pancake day....when Brad told Luke there was ping pong and a free beer Luke graced us with his presence for an evening full of surprises....

Hello Paris

No no no no I am not going there but my old cafe Paris is reopening its doors and letting me and Brit be their number one pancake and coffee runners. We are just so excited!  Things have been moving along and time has just been flying. I am not sure how it is the 21st of Feb, where oh where does the time go??

Saturday there was a Mexican party with costumes and a few bottles of our friend Mr. Tequila.  He is always SO fun at night but turns on you in the morning!  Sunday was well...cliff jumping day! Our friend crazy Sam took us to a great little park, lead us through some trees and out on to a cliff overlooking the city. This is when we stripped down to our swimming costumes and splashed into the ocean water below. It took be about 20- 30 min and all of our friends going at least twice before I took the leap.

Of course there are pictures of all of these events coming to the blog this week! A few fun things happening today as well so I will be back tonight with stories and of course visuals!

Dear MOM

Most days we chat when I am walking to one job or the other.  The past few times I always tell you about the spider colony I walk by. At first I only thought it was only 4 but then I looked up and saw there were probably 20...maybe more.   I finally had the camera to document these big boys hanging out in their webs...I won't lie these pictures do not do them or the size of their webs justice.

Heart Shaped Toast

That is what I made Brad for Valentines day brekkie.  Exchanged love letters and then he took me to a beachside movie in the evening. It was a great day from start to finish with my babu.

Sneaky Buggers.  Is that wine hidden at the bottom of my bag!?

St. Valentines Eve

Work and grocery store.....I came home and Mario (BRAD) was already prepping ze meatballs so I got right to slicing and dicing making my special sauce for Monday night meatball dinner.  I had been home for about 45 min before I even walked into our room to find FLOWERS waiting for me! Oh and a card, but I am not allowed that until tomorrow. Flowers, again Brad! He is a K.E.E.P.E.R.

I said...."Do I love you or what??!! They are beautiful! Umm..can we go have a photo shoot so people can see how you spoil me?"

We then sat down to a wonderful Monday night dinner with Ernie, Ryan and Eleanor. I can not wait to show my new kitchen skills off when I touch down in America. Who wants to come to dinner first?

Tomorrow night we are going to the Bondi Beach outdoor theater to watch Baby get put in the corner then get rescued by a stud to perform a fantastic dance scene.

Brit is so hungry she can't even see straight......

That was Brittney's plate. He had already finished his...a real man eating all the girls leftovers.  I would never call him a garbage disposal...but no food goes to waste and it all seems to go straight to his curls.

Alice. Had the night off and joined us for a cider and cracked us up with her animated personality
