The sun is shining

The day has arrived for the big BQQ. How clever is this little invite, I would have sent it to you VIA the book but I know most of the blog followers are just to far away to attend. It is just going to be a perfect day for some day drinking on the patio so if anyone can get on a last minute super fast jet plane, keep me posted. 

I will take pictures and throw them up complete with the team scores of beer pong and flip cup, updates on who was the best dancer, who passed out on the hammock first, what man impressed us with his grilling skills, if the home made beer was a hit, cutest outfit award, best potato salad maker and worst sunburn.  Summer is just getting started over here you can feel in it the mornings.  They also refer to this time of year as silly season because there are so many BBQ's, parties, and events. The nice weather and holiday season gets everybody in high spirits. I will admit I am still having a hard time grasping Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner because my body only associates those holidays with boots, hats, crisp air and that one thing...it is slipping my mind it has been so long since I have seen it...aw yes. SNOW!!!!!!!!

The house is still sleeping so I thought I would do a quick post! Last night I had ladies night with 3 pretty great girls. Shayne, Connie and Ashley.  There was a group of about 6 guys that went to all you can eat beef and beer night, the ladies passed for a tapas bar.

Why these girls are fantastic: We all tend to use inappropriate language sometimes, they introduced me to vodka/FRESH apple juice and vodka/water/mint/lime and great girl talk can be done. More tapas nights are already penciled in and they were ranting and raving of a great place to "smash a burger on a Friday night"...I am in!
