Weekend Update

Happy Saturday!  We had a little to much fun last night so we are having pumpkin salad and movie night tonight. There is so much happening over here in Sydney so I thought I would do a quick weekend update.  First..I got a job! I am now the corner cafe girl at Harry's coffee and sandwich shop.  It is always hoppin there and takes me 4 minutes to get to!  After I work a few shifts I will give more details, updates and such.

This weekend the housemates all went to New Zealand so Brad and I are holding down the fort. We have made lots of good meals( I am soaking up kitchen time since I have not had one for the past year!!), gone on a few runs, had boot camp in the living room, and just enjoying real life hanging out...sorry bout ya skype!

Friday we took a walk and ran errands, I am not sure I will get used to what is pretty much my backyard.  I keep taking pictures so I will keep putting them up till I believe my current longitude and latitude.

We tried our luck with scratch and play and found out it was just not our time to be millionaires. It will be one day though, I just have this feeling.

Friday night we went over to Kyle and Ashley's house and polished off a few bottles of wine.  Introducing new people into the blog! Kyle is on of Brads good buddies here in Bondi and Ashley is his girlfriend and one of the sweetest girls I have met.   They are great!  Then headed to the bar and I was introduced to some more mates, these guys were Brads soccer buddies. Very animated and very fun!

We attacked Saturday.  Made Championship breakfast, worked out, took the bus to Brads work (got a tour of the office because we needed to pick some papers up from there), walked around The Rocks, and Darling Harbor.

Oh and had a mini cupcake, that was a little disappointing. Looks good huh? It was a little on the dry side. Wah wah.
Cupcakes boutiques, know they were getting big in the States but the trend has also hit Sydney.

Darling Harbor is filled with restaurants wharf-side, cruise boats, and a few tourist attractions. We walked there from The Rocks which is the oldest part of Sydney.  I love this area. Old buildings, cozy pubs and neato shops.

While waiting for the bus with hoods up hiding from the wind. I tried to make my most gangster face. I feel I could have done better.

A great day lead to a great night and our first go at pumpkin chicken salad a la Rachel and Brad was a success
