Just Like Mom Used to Make

I am walking to school today and I am thinking....gosh I just want a piece of toast, and I want it toasted. Most of the bread here has a sweet after taste, it is very hard to find bland things unless it is plain noodles. I walk into the main part of campus and sure enough there is lots of activity going on. Students always have booths and stands set up selling different things or food.  Today I think most of it was fundraising for the floods. I am just walking around checking it all out seeing what the students are selling. What do I see?! A toaster. A loaf of bread. Skippy Peanut Butter. You better believe I got a piece of peanut butter toast! Better yet the bread tasted just like bread from home!!!!!!!!!! Good old white bread! I made it last so long acting like I would never eat again............

No more then 5 minutes later I am front and center at the booth ordering one of the best inventions my mother taught me in the kitchen. A peanut butter and banana sandwich. I was almost in tears it was so good. I am trying not to walk by that booth for the rest of the day because I will continue to eat those little devils until they have to close down shop and I have to go shopping for bigger clothes.
